Who We Are
A story that began in Colombo's most underserved communities
Our journey began in the underserved communities of Colombo, with a focus on education and children's rights. Over the years, we have expanded our reach across Sri Lanka and broadened our focus areas to address the different needs of the communities we serve.
While our work now focuses on different areas of development, the wellbeing of children remains at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child is created in the image of God and has a God-given purpose. When we invest in their growth, education, and well-being, we contribute to the transformation of entire communities.
We are committed to transforming communities through practical and holistic approaches while deeply valuing and respecting people from all walks of life, regardless of their creed, background, or ability.
Our Focus Areas
WASH
Providing access to safe and reliable drinking water, improved hygiene facilities promoting sustainable water management and raising community awareness.
CHILD RIGHTS
& EDUCATION
Raising awareness on child rights and all forms of exploitation and expanding access to quality education and supporting the nutritional needs and well-being of children.
Livelihood
Development
Supporting community members with the resources and training needed to strengthen their skills and improve income and resilience to build self-reliant and sustainable livelihoods.
Women's
Empowerment
Uplifting women to take ownership of their futures through economic independence, social inclusion,and political empowerment through the active participation in governance and community decision making.
Advocacy
Conducting awareness and sensitization sessions to empower communities, particularly children, on their rights, the importance of education and the resources and support available to them, while promoting community and family cohesion, and improving access to justice for all.

As Sri Lankans, we have faced many seasons of hardship, uncertainty and change. Yet through it all, what I witness is something remarkable—the unbroken spirit and determination of our people. Time and again, communities across our Island have demonstrated an extraordinary ability to adapt and persevere, refusing to let adversity define their future.
Recently, I had the opportunity to hear about the impact of one of our earliest projects in Colombo. Hearing the lasting impact of these initiatives and the families whose lives have been transformed was both humbling and inspiring. It served as a powerful reminder that meaningful change is possible when communities are empowered with opportunities, resources and support.
We hold firm to the belief that this beautiful island, rich in culture, diversity and natural beauty can rise above its challenges and become a shining model of transformation by investing in empowering its people and communities.
